  • How many grafts can be undertaken in one session?
    In one session, which lasts between 6-8 hours, about 4,000 grafts can be implanted.
  • How long can the transplanted hair grow?
    The transplanted hair can grow in around 2-3 months; it will fall off before regrowing and will continue to grow as normal hairs. It will take around 8-12 months for the hair to be fully grown. Normally, hairs grow 1 cm per month.
  • What are the side effects of a hair transplant?
    The side effects could include swelling, bleeding, infection, or itching. To address these side effects, the surgeon will provide you with medications.
  • Does the hair grown after the hair transplant look natural?
    Yes, as the transplanted grafts are taken from your donor area, the grown hair looks as natural as before.
  • Can there be any scars left after the hair transplant?
    When the skin heals with the formation of scar tissue, there won’t be any scars left.
  • Will there be any pain after the hair transplant?
    You may experience pain after the hair transplant, but the doctor will provide you with painkillers to be taken.
  • Can the hair be taken from other areas of the body, say from the chest?
    One can take hairs from other areas, but the results will not be as good, and more than 50% of the implanted hairs may fall off over time.
  • What type of anesthesia is used for hair transplants?
    The doctor will administer some sedation, and local anesthesia will be given before the procedure.
